Welcome back to the second part of our autumn term. We hope that you all had an enjoyable half-term break!
We begin with some very sad news! A dear colleague of ours and friend of many, Jackie Rowe passed away peacefully on Monday 5th October. Jackie had been ill for some time. Jackie was a well respected member of our therapy team and worked extremely hard to help our pupils maintain and gain physical skills. Jackie had been working for Vranch House since 1989 and she will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. We are presently collecting money to put towards a remembrance bench for Jackie. If any of you knew Jackie and want to give a donation towards the remembrance bench then please send the money in an envelope stating 'Jackie Rowe'.
Our topic for this part of the term is ‘Faiths & Beliefs' but we will continue to do some work on ‘Ourselves'. Each class will send out their planning to inform you of activities and events that are planned.
Dates for your diary:
As always if you have any concerns regarding your child's health or education please contact us. We hope that this term is an enjoyable one!
