Dear Parents & Carers,
Re: Staffing changes at Vranch House
Physiotherapy staff - on behalf of Vranch House school, it is a pleasure to say that two new Physiotherapists have joined the therapy team. Jordan Allen will be working predominantly in support of our pupils in Beech, Pine and Elm classes, whilst Megan Hawker will be heavily involved with pupils in our Rowan and Maple classes. If you have visited Vranch House recently you may already know that Kirsty Scales is expecting a baby and she will be starting her maternity leave as of 3rd February 2023. I know you join all of us at Vranch House in wishing Kirsty all the best over the exciting coming weeks!
Music Therapy - our resident Neurological Music Therapist (NMT), Sue Pratt, is temporarily away from work for medical reasons and will not be available for the next 6 weeks. As ever, Sue has been meticulous and forward-thinking in her NMT work and has handed-over to our Teachers and Therapy Assistants ample programmes of work to continue the NMT approach in her absence. We wish Sue a speedy recovery and look forward to welcoming her back, hopefully, in the week beginning 6th March 2023
Willow class staffing - as per another recent Newsletter, we are sad to have now said ‘goodbye' to Abigail Mugliston as the Early Years (EY) Practitioner in our Willow class. Our Lead Teacher for Early Years, Deborah Bradshaw, has stepped across from Pine class to provide stability in this class until the half-term break. After half-term, we will be welcoming one of our existing members of staff, Jasmine Wright, to the Early Years team as EY Practitioner for Willow class. Jasmine's academic qualifications and experience in EY education make her ideally placed to take over the running of this class.
I appreciate that change is not always a welcomed prospect for many parents and carers; if you have any queries or concerns regarding any of the above changes to staffing, then please do contact myself or our Chief Executive, Kate Moss.
