Parents and Carers of Vranch House Pupils

Dear Parents and Carers,

Re: Leavers & Achievement Assembly

We are very nearly at the end of the summer term and academic year, so it is that time again when we hold an assembly to celebrate the highlights of pupil's achievements and say goodbye to any pupils leaving us. This assembly will be on Wednesday 18th July, from 2pm in the Hall.

Every pupil will receive a certificate giving a summary of some of their greatest achievements over this last academic year, so get your cameras ready!  We will also be saying farewell to Alex from Class 3, who will be leaving us at the end of this year to continue his education journey at another school from September 2018.  Although we will send him off in our usual style, I would like to take this opportunity to wish Alex and his family all the best for the future.

After much discussion with the Head of Therapies, we must now ask that no dogs are brought onto the Vranch House site without prior written consent from either the Head of Education or the Head of Therapies, as this is used not only for the school but also the outpatient clinic as well.  We need to assess any risks associated with animals coming onto site, this includes any potential risks posed to outpatients, pupils and adults.  Thank you in advance for your compliance with this.

I hope that you are able to attend this celebration event as it will also provide an opportunity to meet your child's class teacher if they are changing class from September.  If you would like to purchase any new uniform for your child for September, please contact the School Secretary, Beverley Simcox.

Yours faithfully

Ian Norton

Head of Education
