MEALTIME ASSISTANTS

Location: Vranch House, part time.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our School which has was recently (Nov 2022) judged OUTSTANDING by Ofsted, for the second Inspection in a row! Due to our continued success, we need to appoint further a TEACHING ASSISTANT and MEALTIME ASSISTANT staff at Vranch House School in Exeter, from Jan 2023. You too could join our friendly staff team and work with amazing children and young people who have physical disabilities and complex needs - 39 weeks, term time only.

MEALTIME ASSISTANTS - 10 and 16 hours per week, £10.43 per hour.

Our Teaching Assistants and Mealtime Assistants work within a class of children and young people with severe learning difficulties (SLD) or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD); all of our pupils have physical disabilities. Applicants must have prior experience of working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or physical disabilities, though the successful applicants will be given full training in a wide range of applicable skills, required to meet the specific needs of our pupils.
