Parent Support Network
We are always looking for ways to support parents and families in school. If you have any energy, enthusiasm or ideas for setting up a Parent Council for school or something similar please let us know.

Follow your dreams presentation
This event took place on 7th November from 1.30pm and included Mr Tumble tribute act. It went well and all the children seemed to enjoy the afternoon although some found the noise and excitement a little too much at times. We hope the children enjoyed their ‘dreams' and we have written to thank both ‘Mr Tumble' and ‘Follow Your Dreams' charity for making this possible.

Wear It Pink Day
Many thanks to everyone for taking part and contributing to the Breast Cancer Campaign's ‘Wear It Pink Day' - £70.22 was raised.

Christmas Goods for Sale
Orders are now being taken for the School Christmas Cards, 2013 Diaries and Christmas Puddings - please send a note into the school office if you would like to purchase any items.

Change to Annual Review arrangements
You will shortly be receiving amended invitations to your child's Annual Review. This is because we would very much like to welcome the children to attend their reviews and join in with discussions, as and when appropriate. We will be able to offer some child-care if you would like your child to stay for part of the meeting only. We would not be able to provide any child-care before or after the meeting, except in exceptional cases.

School Photographs
A reminder that if you would like to order any of the Tempest photographs recently taken of your child the order and payment should be sent in to the school by the end of this week (30th November).

Christmas Dates:

Christmas Fayre - Saturday 8th December 2 - 4 pm please come along and enjoy the afternoon or volunteer some time to help, all very welcome. We are planning a few games and face painting for the children, the usual refreshments and a range of stalls and a raffle. We also hope to have a Santa's Grotto in the sensory room - perhaps without Santa as he will be very busy sorting out presents etc! (Unless of course we have any volunteers?) ☺
We would very much welcome contributions of items to sell on the stalls i.e. good bric-abrac, toys, books, cakes and filled bottles/jars for the tombola stall, etc.

Christmas Play - The children have voted for their choice of Christmas Play from a choice of three - "Santa's on Strike!" - has been selected. The one and only performance will take place on Monday 10th December at 2pm.

Christmas Party and Carols - Wednesday 19th December - we plan to have a combined Christmas Party, followed by our Christmas Carols. You are welcome to arrive at any time during the morning to join the party. The Carol's will begin at approximately 11am. Please bring your loudest singing voice! ☺

Training Days - Thursday 20th December is a training day for staff as is Monday 7th January 2013. The new school term begins for the children on Tuesday 8th January, 2013.

Please complete the attached slip and return it to school as soon as possible so that we have an idea of numbers coming to the Christmas Play, Christmas Party and Carols.
Many thanks.
