Dear Parents/Carers,
Before the half-term break we said goodbye to two members of staff. Cara Porter our speech and language therapist left us to develop her skills in another setting as part of her continuous professional development. Katie Garland who supported Cara in her role has left to continue her career in Oxford where she now lives with her husband. We are currently in the process of recruiting a new speech and language therapist.
The last part of the summer term is always a busy one with plenty going on. We are continuing with our topic on dinosaurs and we have a number of dates for your diary. These are:
- Wednesday 29th June - Sports Day - Further information sent home separately
- Week commencing 11th July - Creative Art's Week
- Wednesday 20th & Thursday 21st July - Whizz Kidz
- Friday 22nd July - 10 am Achievement Awards and Last day of term
Sue Pratt our Music Therapist is recovering well after breaking her arm and is hoping to be back with us in September.
We have had a few setbacks with regards deliveries on our new pool but it is looking positive that it will be ready in time for the autumn term 2016.
If you wish to order any items of school uniform please would you let Beverley know as soon as possible as she will shortly be placing an order with the suppliers.
