Achievement Awards

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and join in with our Achievement Awards this year. It was particularly good to see the work of Sue Pratt and Music Therapy at first hand, albeit in an unusual setting for the children (who were fantastic!).

Whilst it was very emotional to say goodbye to all our leavers it is so good to look back on all they have achieved and to wish them well for all they will achieve in the future.

Holiday Activities

Design a Christmas Stamp competition - open to children aged between 4-11 years - even though it's so lovely and sunny at the moment!

Other information
Please see the Face2Face attachment which provides information about their valuable work.

Dr. Ginny Humphreys will be reducing her work time from the end of this term and will become our Clinical Director. Kate Moss will be taking over as Head of Therapy from August 2013.

Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who has sent in vouchers over the year so far we have raised:
Nestlé box tops £14.10
Over 12,000 Sainsbury's Active Kids vouchers were collected so we should be able to choose some brilliant things from the catalogue.
Tracey says "Please look out for Tesco vouchers in the Autumn!" ☺

Promotional Video
Filming has now been completed on a promotional video showcasing the work that
we do here in the school and the clinic. It will shortly be available to watch via the
Vranch House website - www.vranchhouse.org.

Training Days in September
Traditionally, Vranch House School aims to finish in mid July and return in early September. We try to minimise transport difficulties by keeping in time with Devon schools as much as possible. I apologise if our training and opening dates have inconvenienced anyone in September. I think I underestimated how many mainstream schools would use the whole of the first week of September as training or occasional days. We are back quite early as a result but we are finishing early too!
May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy summer holiday and to thank all staff at Vranch House for their hard work and also parents, families and transport for their support during this academic year.
