Welcome to our first newsletter for the Summer Term! As usual I have enclosed a planner
for May which shows some of the activities the children will be involved with during the first
half of this term.
Wildsoc. From Exeter University - we had one student visit from Exeter University
and he planned and presented an afternoon of fun activities for the children, which
involved hiding and finding a range of toy creatures around the grounds and
garden.
Stick and Stone arts project. Sara Sullivan, an artist who works with recycled and
natural materials will be working in school, with the children, during May, to create a
piece of work which can be put on permanent display in school.
Sailing - we have been fortunate enough to have been invited to take part in a
sailing day at Teignmouth with 3d Tender. Class 3 children have been invited to
take part and the trip will take place on Thursday 12th May. Fingers crossed for
good weather and a reasonably calm sea!
PARENTS - A gentle reminder to please try wherever possible to have your child ready for
collection when the bus arrives. We are currently contacting transport to request they fine
tune their timetables and schedules to ensure the prompt arrival of children in school each
day.
The next and final newsletter for this Academic Year will be sent out in June ☺
