Vranch House is an Independent Day School in Exeter for children with significant physical difficulties, a centre for the treatment of outpatients and a provider of various therapies in other schools in Devon.

Parents & the School

Parents' Groups

Parents’ Groups/Activities are organised within class and the class teachers/therapists will notify parents of these.

In Class 1 parents are invited into school each Wednesday morning. From 11.00 am to 12.00 noon activities will be organised so that parents can work with their child. From 10.15 am coffee is available in the Staff Room. A crèche is provided free of charge from 10.15 to 12.00 noon on Wednesday mornings.

Occasionally outside speakers will be arranged for parents.

Parents' Evening

This is held annually during the Summer term and will follow shortly after the child's annual report is sent home. On this evening the parents will have the opportunity to meet with staff.

Home - School Message Book

All children will be given a Home - School Message Book or Folder. Informal messages can be written by parents to staff and vice versa
