The first 20 years of my working career was spent as a nurse for people with physical and learning disabilities. During this time I married and had two children. In 2005 the opportunity arose for me to follow my long term ambition of becoming a physiotherapist. I qualified from Plymouth University in 2008 and have worked within the field of neurology, physical and learning disabilities before specialising in paediatric physiotherapy.
